brakes bleeding - can I get away with only the rear? 200 1991

I've only been doing 240 brakes for 25-30 years but not a good memory anymore. If I'm doing rear brakes can I just bleed the rear? For the future - if doing only fronts, can I get away with only fronts (I think more likely).
