New shocks all around on my 1988 740 t wagon. Noticed the gap between the top of the rear tire and bottom of the wheel fender were off by 1-1\2 inches. Realizing one of the rear shocks was dead, the spring took the load and worn itself weaker. Replaced both rear springs with heavy duty IPD springs. Really corrected the gap difference and it's almost even on the fender to tire gap height. The driver side rear is still 1\2 inch different in height. My question is , does the axle.cross link cause the gap to be different on one side of the axle tire. Car was never in an accident so there is No body twist. Two need springs should put the car at equal height, or so I thought.
