Heater motor replacement 200 1993

After researching my options, it looked to me like the most recommended replacement motor was the 4 seasons, Canadian made brand. Seems to be well made, but dosen't match exactly. (hopefully the picture will show up) Do you think it is ok to lengthen the wires and use it without the sealed conduit? I am surprised that no one has reported this issue.
