Bosch 0280160294 vs Spectra SP1252

Hello all. I am currently rebuilding the fuel delivery system on my 1974 145 and need a replacement in line fuel pump. The Bosch 0280160294 is extremely hard to find and expensive if you do. I was thinking about using a Spectra 1252 as a replacement. Does anyone have any experience doing this? Seems like it would work. Any advice or pointers gratefully received. Warren
