Over the past few weeks in the colder New England climate, I have noticed my 93 240 wagon shifting a bit harder. Specifically downshifts while coming to a stop.
Assume I am due for an ATF flush (and perhaps even a filter). Think I have tuned or replaced everything else so far. Should I be looking at anything else while I am under? The wagon has 175k on the clock and I did not inherit any AT repair history.
This wagon has always been rather hesitant to downshift, requiring a lead foot as I have seen on many AT 240s.
