O2 sensor position on 1991 240 (non-Cali) 200 1991

I had the exhaust replaced several years ago by a local garage (it was 20 below when it went out) and need to put new cat, O2 sensor and front pipe on. I thought I remembered the sensor mounted in the front pipe, but the parts I pulled have the pipe plugged and the sensor in the catalytic converter.

Which hole do I plug, and which hole takes the O2 sensor?
