Thanks for the help, already fixed mostly, my $500 86 244.

Thanks for all the help and archives. My recently bought gold 244 stopped cranking. Through your help I replaced the ignition switch. I had to use a special small rachet right angle bit screwdriver I bought at H. Freight. Hope that helps others in the same boat. After taking out the instrument panel. It was difficult but doable.
I just want to warn others about how delicate the fuel line is. So when you change your fuel filter or main pump do it slowly and carefully. I found a kink in the fuel line right at where it connects to the fuel filter. I did not know how delicate the line was. I took a pair of plyers and "unkinked" the the line. Wrong. This caused multiple holes in the line. I managed to get another few inches of line by pulling it forward. Cut off the section and carefully reinstalled the banjo line end. After dipping the line in a pan of very hot water for five minutes. I only got the line on for two ridges. Seems two work.
My other problems are a front end clunk. I replaced the ball joints and tierods on bothe sides. In the trunk was a massive treasure trove of parts, including new motor mounts. Could it be motor mounts or the front struts?
Also right at 50 mph the front end shakes. I think it could be old tires that are out of round. Although this is a great small town car less than 40 mph. I would like to go 65 mph or so occasionally.
My power windows work sometimes. When i rotate the number ten fuse a few times the windows work for a few minutes. I have read up on others suggestions. The fuses are all new and the terminals at fuse box cleaned. I have some aerosol cleaner I will spray into the switches as I work them back and forth. Any other suggestions besides take door apart tighten bolts and clean the grounds, maybe clean tracks and relube?
In the trunk was two working alternators both bosch. An Amm, a starter, a grill, two tie rod ends, which I installed. Little boxes of new ceramic fuses and a whole bunch of old ones as well as other parts. As I sell off the parts the car gets cheaper and cheaper. I sold the hitch for $50. I can see selling some other parts for another $100 off.
