¿ Are 1993 240 Rear Brake Pads Unique ? 200

I went to order some new rear brake pads for a 1993 240. I couldn't find the pads on TASCA's site, so I punched in the OE number gleaned from FCP Groton. A message popped up on the TASCA order which said the part would not fit my '93. Also, what appears to be a kosher part number for the '93 is NLA.

I've been working under the impression for many years that ALL 240's used the same ATE calipers and pads in the rear.

Does the '93 ABS system require a different rear pad composition and, more importantly, while the pads from earlier model years will fit, are they a compromise?

Thanks, one and all,

Rich (near The Burgh)
