544 Rear end swap and differences 444-544

I have a 62 544 with a problematic rearend. I have located a 65 544 car that they are willing to part the rearend. I looked in the manuals but cannot really tell. Are they both the Dana 27 rearends? Do they mount the same? I have not driven to the parts car yet since it is 3 hours away. Wanted to know this information first.
