1991 Golden Volvo 240, M47 II - 3-pedal, need Engine R or R (400$) St. Peters, MO; and ... 200 1991

Not my 1993 Volvo 240. Found this on the St. Louis, MO area craigslist.

Needs engine or gives M47 II transmission and other bits.

Engine is faulty from overheating so says the craigslist advert. You can see the advert (copy and paste):

Volvo 240 5 Speed, Needs engine - $400 (St. Peters)

https://stlouis.craigslist.org/cto/5889593889.html

If I had a garage and was actually doin' this Volvo 240 thing for keeps, I'd buy it. I'd like to actually build my own engine again. Soup it up. A or K cam it, deck the head (with boughs of holly, fa, la, la, la, la, la, la, la ,la) and such. Oh well. A mere 30-50 more horsies out of that B230 without too much BS.

Mileage unknown.

Tried to post to the CLASSADS, yet requires a billing address? So, there you go.

Hope that helps.

As I can't help myself, here are the advert images:

14" steelies with covers at front and 16" Hydras on the Rear? Snow Hydras?

Custom exhaust! Protrudes well.

Three pedals for Uncle Old Duke!

On St. Louis craigslist, we also have several 240s, yet this 1976 deserves mention. Not mine.

1976 Volvo 245DL - $1800 (stl)

https://stlouis.craigslist.org/cto/5841074998.html

"for sale: 1976 Volvo 245DL, mild project car. 89.xxx original miles, B21F 4cyl, aw55 3speed automatic transmission, runs and drives, idles rough, needs paint and body work, (in my opinion), solid floors, ..."

Hope that helps.
