122S Wagon fuel tank baffle? 120-130

I'm setting up the fuel system in my 122S wagon for fuel injection. Looking into the tank there is some baffling, but all I can see is a box around the fuel level sender.
Does anybody know what the rest of the inside of the tank looks like? Would I be able to use the normal pick-up without starvation on turns with a low fuel level?
What about using the tank drain as a feed to the pump?
I bought the smallest swirl tank I could find, but there's nowhere to put it unless I have it cut down even smaller. Even then, it would have to be mounted inside the passenger area behind the wheel well, which I want to avoid.
I've also considered mounting a swirl tank and pump up in the engine bay and feeding the tank with the mechanical pump. But space up there is limited also since I have A/C and a brake booster.
Also, I've looked at fuel cells, but there are none that will fit easily, allow me to carry a spare tire, or fill the tank with the existing filler neck.
The existing tank is only about 6 inches deep, so opening up the tank, installing an inner sump and pre pump would be difficult.
So, I'm looking for ideas on how to get fuel to the injector rail.

Thanks in advance
-TR Conn
