Hi All,

My driver side strut mount is making a light clunking noise going over bumps. There is no rip or tear around the rubber. However, the entire rubber has detached from the metal tubing.

I am planning to work on front suspensions next weekend. I need to put at least 800 miles until then. The mileage is unknown on the part. I haven't replaced since I bought it.

Q1. Does strut shaft ever come thru the failed strut mount?
Q2. Meyle brand OK for 75,000 miles use?
