My "new' 87 240dl 200 1987

One day about 2 months ago a friend that works for an auction company called me and said that today's estate auction was over and nobody had bought "this old brick Volvo" and asked if I was interested......... Not that I need another project by why not, havnt had a Volvo yet!

So I asked him how much they wanted for it and to my horror I got the typical answer -.- "well they are gunna scrap it tomorrow, so what ever that is."

Not the first or last time I've heard that ;)

My next call was to the guy incharge at the auction Co, he told me it diddnt run but had a title. Good enough for me. Although he diddnt fall for my gracious offer of me coming to pick it up out of the kindness of my heart, $200 was enough to get the car and title, so I hopped in the truck, hooked up a trailer and off I went

Here she is when i got home
