1993 240 Return fuel line leak at the rail

I have a 1993 240 Return fuel line leak at the rail connection that I was able to repair by cutting off 3" of old fuel soaked and deteriorated rubber.

This is a first for me so I was a bit surprised to see fuel leaking from the line, and have never seen any others with this problem. So check this out on your 240's it might help keep it from burning to the ground!

How long is this rubber fuel line? I think it is attached to a metal line a few feet away from the rail but not really sure.
