I am in the process of replacing my front bumper cover. I have everything assembled on the aluminum reinforcement and have run into trouble at the point where the guides inside the ends of the plastic cover have to slide over the flat top of the tee-shaped plastic posts that are mounted on the sides of the fenders.
Getting the cover off over those posts was easy enough...
I thought of just undoing the plastic posts from inside the fender but the 10mm head bolt in there seems to spin something in the "stem" of the plastic post. I'm afraid I am going to break something I will be sorry about.
Does anyone have a good method of engaging the slide guides inside the bumper cover with the posts on the fender as you mount up the front bumper that they could share?
