Draining Gas from tank, can I use internal fuel pump 900 1993

Picked up a 940T, but it had ancient gas in it 2-3 yrs old. failed inspection for co2 ( no surprise). Can I use the internal fuel pump to empty tank, the tank is full, and can't get a siphon hose in to drain it.
