A lot of progress has been made on the moderately crash damaged '93 960. We're currently waiting for one last part (headlight) and all will be together.
Thank you to all that helped with pictures and links to diagrams as well as those who helped with the FAQ on that "damnable Y shaped fuel filler-vent hose" that would have had caused the car to fail the emissions test.
If there was a silver lining in daughter's crash, it was that no one was hurt, our insurance took very good care of the other driver and their car, and my daughter learned about cutting spot welds, welding spot welds with a wire welder, body panel alignment, hood alignment, scouting junk yards, handling tools, moving bent stuff around with a hydraulic ram that I borrowed and how much of a hassle it is to fix crashed cars.
Just to brag a bit, she just finished her high school junior year with a 3.4 GPA...not bad for all honors and AP classes and the school not doing anything special for the harder classes.... :-)
