The 245 had been doing ok for a few weeks since Art helped out with my bad Air Mass Meter. I decided to bring the car back up to a more stock ride height, so I made my son put the IPD sport springs back on the front and get rid of the cut stock springs that he used to lower the car even more. I then put back on the old set of IPD cargo springs and got rid of the rear sport springs. So it's riding pretty high with a slight bit of rake. It's looking good to me and no tires rubbing, with the benefit that the car can actually be used to tow a trailer now.
Unfortunately, I believe my son or a kid from his auto shop class messed up one of the front brake hoses. I had the bad experience of pressing the brakes and having the brake pedal hit the floor. Ends up that the front driver side brake hose was somehow pinched between the front swaybar and the bracket for the hard brake lines. The hose tore. The brakes are working fine now after putting on another hose and bleeding the brakes. Getting those brake fittings to thread up is a pain. On the positive side, the brakes went out in my driveway and not while driving on the road. So it could have been a much worse situation.
