Hub Oil in Rear Diff? 120-130

I accidentally bought Lucas hub oil instead of gear oil (this is a while back...it's sitting around the garage)...think i can just throw that in the rear diff instead of the suggested 75w-90? so i don't have to buy more gear oil...also, anyone know where the windshield washer reservoir goes on a 66? I think drivers side right in front of MC but maybe more near radiator ...cant seem to find any pics - Thanks!
