door weatherstrip "c' channel 444-544

I have asked this before but it was a couple of years ago and things change. Anybody know of a source for the steel "c" channel that holds the door weatherstrip?

Alternatively, has anybody successfully used a universal weatherstripping?

I replaced the door bottoms on both sides and had to trash the C channel or what was left of it. A good fellow on this forum sent me a few feet from an earlier project but i dont quite have enough to finish....hence this post.
