drivers outside door latch '96-960 900 1996

door latch has failed on the outside of the drivers door. the lever is loose with no resistance and will not open the door. I have to reach across from the passenger side to open it from the inside . the latch and lock seem to work fine. just the latchset on the outside drivers door.

where do i start...remove the inside door panel? any suggestions on finding the right part?
