960 vs. 760 Lock Cylinders Interchangeable? 700 1990

I've got one of the 1990 760's that Volvo lost the key codes for (it's a wagon)and am wondering if the lock cylinders from the '97 965 junker that I have will work in the 760.

The tailgate cylinder is oriented 90-degrees different in the two cars, other than that issue I think it may work. Volvo's parts look up didn't help through comparing part numbers.

Does anyone have any experience swapping these?
