Hello All,

I have a few issues I'm going to throw up on the board about my '78 242 DL coupe and appreciate any guidance from the community.

I think that either something is fouling the interior of the ignition switch. The key just doesn't feel right in the ignition, and it has started to just die without warning. I've been able to restart it but the problem is getting worse. It is a sealed assembly and I think my only real option is to replace the whole piece. I am not a mechanic (alas a lowly carpenter) but the guy who takes care of it for me is squared away and thinks this is the problem.

Does this sound reasonable and, if so, can anyone direct me to a decent source for parts?
