Fault tracing 245 taillight wiring .... got me flummoxed 200 1993

Hi All,

Ive got a recently developed situation where the driver side rear lighting fixture functions perfectly (brake, taillight, turn signal, backup & fog). The passenger side has faults in the taillight and fog. There is no power being fed through the leads going to those fixtures. Ive jumper-ed 12v to those spade connections and the bulbs operate fine, the ground is good.

Ive been looking at the wiring diagrams in Bentley and noticing what appear to be connections or junctions, I want to check them, but I'm not finding any aft of the rear seat. The diagram also seems to indicate a 12v feed from from the driver side fog to the passenger side fog. I say "seems" because the wiring diagram grid-line is partially obscuring this dotted line. Its clearly visible on the diagram for my '89 245, and they share the same fixtures so I'm assuming its supposed to be there, but its not.

So my immediate concern is locating the junctions without dismantling the entire interior and fault tracing the feeds back to their sources. Unless of course there is a more sensible approach to the problem.

Any and all help will be appreciated.

TIA,
John
