Opinion on buying 79 240 200 1979

I am considering purchasing a 79 240 sedan that I have found locally which is in nice shape. The car has been owned by the same owner for many years, and is one of the cleanest 240s I have seen in a long time. I am familiar with the B230 platform from a newer 240 I used to own and liked a lot, and so I am also somewhat familiar with working on the 240s.

However I am unfamiliar with earlier era 240s and the issues they may have. One thing I am pondering is the mechanical fuel injection system. Is this a problematic system on these cars? If anyone has advice regarding this or any other issues the B21 drivetrain may have I would greatly appreciate it.

Trying to figure out if I should focus my search for an early 90s car instead.

Thank you
