'72 164E window seals? 140-160 1972

Hello all. My name is Stan and I'm new to this forward, though I've been following it for a while having recently purchased a 1972 164E (with 51,000 miles!). Having owned 3 '71 164s which I drove from when I was 16 until I was 33, I'm fairly familiar with the car, except for the FI! Now that I'm 57, I'm thrilled to be driving one again.

With that said, I'm hoping I can get some help with something I haven't been able to figure out myself. The outer window seals on the doors are currently not installed. Since its rainy season here in California, this is something I'd like to take care of as soon as possible. I found the rear door ones in the trunk, but the fronts are completely MIA.

First, let me describe them, so that you'll hopefully know exactly what I'm talking about. These are felt backed rubber strips, one edge of which sits on top of a strip of (chromed?) metal at the top of the door while the other edge rests against the outer side of the glass. A strip along the bottom of this item fits into another strip that mounted inside the door and incorporates some (barbed?) clips, which I don't know whether or not are there, assuming I'm remembering them correctly.

I've STARED at the diagrams on the Volvotips.com website, but haven't been able to figure out part #s for these items. Looking in group 8 of the 164 parts catalog, there's a drawing between pages 30 and 32. This has a 'subdrawing' showing #106A (part # 683644)and 107 (part # 944102). There's a 3rd item in this subdrawing that I'm fairly certain is the item I need, but I can for the life of me determine what its part # is!

Help! Once it starts raining here it usually doesn't stop for a few months, so I'd really like to take care of this as soon as possible and the thought of having to keep her under a car cover and having to still tool around in the '89 Firebird (jeez, I hope you don't all 'disown' me now!) is killing me, but I can't risk contributing to future rust problems!

Thanks in advance and P.S. - I've been extremely impressed with the wealth of information I've found here. Its been very helpful and I'd like to express my gratitude to all who have contributed their insights and knowledge!
