transmission mount questions 900 1993

Hi everyone, I have a couple of questions regarding the transmission mount on my 940 turbo wagon. Mine is soaked with oil and has 310k on it. Recently, I started getting a ton of exhaust rumbling noise and vibrations from under the shifter. The exhaust has no leaks in it, though - and is very secure at the transmission clamp. At first I thought it might be the original cat (which I replaced to no avail), then I realized that an exhaust bracket attaches to the back of the header pipe right at the transmission mount, so I'm assuming that's where my noise is coming from. So my questions:

-has anyone had this similar rumbling noise before and replacing the mount fixed the problem? Nothing like this is mentioned on the site or in FAQ, and I'm wondering if this is really the culprit...

-is it obvious when the transmission mount is removed how the exhaust bracket attaches? I couldn't quite figure this out when under the car. Does this bracket have to be removed in any way in order to change the mount? (no reference to this bracket in the FAQ or the site in general, as far as I can tell...)

-anyone happen to know the size of the nuts holding the crossmember and mount in place?

Many thanks!
