So I have seen other post on this , but I'm a little worried. Please excuse me if this is redundant to ya'll, but I'm still learing all of this stuff. Anyway I changed the oil and replaced. I use 10W40 and Mann filers, however when I was cleaning up the garage this weekend I found a few Volvo filters from a few years ago so I decided to use one. So as I say I did the change and then seafoamed the car. 1/3 in in booster line, 1/3 in crankcase, 1/3 in gas tank.

Everything was fine till I went to drive the car around to move that seafoam around and the oil pressure light was flickering or light dim of and on. Question, is did I do anything wrong by doing this? Would a old oil filter that has been just sitting on shelf still had black plastic on it, but no box have anythingto do with this.
I did notice that when I was screwing the filter on that a thin wire was broken that I'm not sure what it was but it is not connectid to anything. It would be on the right hand side when I was screwing filter on. I have changed oil in this car tons of times but never had a flickering.
Thanks,
Ben
