Needing to change oil this week on the sedan. It was 178,300 on it now. I picked up my Mobil 1 today and they had seafoam on sale so I took that also. I was thinking about adding the whole bottle before the change and letting it clean all the junk out. I would let it run about 10 or 15 min and loosen up crud and then drain out. Is this a safe idea? What do ya'll think? I know that it would thin out the oil so I really would not drive, just sit in drive way and run.
