A/C installation on a PV444 444-544 1957

I'm new to this forum and the Volvo car, having just purchasing it a couple of months ago. But after getting it to run and driving a little bit in the hot sun, I realized this car has no ventilation and needs cooling air. So I found the kits on "Speedway" for smaller cars and went to the electrical mech. Also found the articles on upgrading to 12 volts on "Swedishembassy"... My question is has any one put A/C in one of these cars before? or am I inventing the wheel? Thanks, Dick....
