Wrong oil pump for b21ft / Scantech 200 1983

I mail ordered a Scantech oil pump for my 1983 volvo 242 Turbo from FCP Groton. Part number 1346144 according to their catalog it will fit my car. I can not get it to fit properly. It does not fully seat in the keyed drive opening. Is there a trick to this or did I order the wrong part.
