94 940 fuse tray

I've been having some apparent electrical issues (engine ignition dropout during acceleration) and ended up pulling out the fuse tray to see what I could see.

When I did, the first thing I came across was a small gauge yellow (no stripes) wire connected to the (+) buss, the other end was unattached and looked as if it had pulled out of a connector. This is a small signal level type wire that would not carry a high current (maybe 22 ga.). As I said, one end of the wire is attached to the (+) buss near the fuel pump relay, the wire is about 6-8 inches long & was routed under the main cable bundles to the other (passenger) side of the fuse tray where it was dangling.

I could not see a connection that was obviously missing a wire. I am not sure this was a factory installed wire since the spade connector it was attached to has a blue plastic ferrule, unlike all the other spade connectors. But I thought I'd try here just in case it sounds familiar to anyone.
