I have posted on here before in reference to my daughters 93 940 Turbo. That was my first Volvo other than working on a 740 years ago when I was a used car mechanic. I was always impressed with the way her car has held up,in upstate NY we use a ton of road salt and most 93's have rotted away, but you still see older Volvo's,the engineering of the car is in my opinion well thought out.. So I have been looking for a second car for myself,I found a 93 940 non turbo locally and bought it cheap. It's in good shape with high mileage, and I drove it ten miles to my home yesterday. Now the car has sat for 3 years, other than the obvious changing fluids, belts, and hoses and such is there anything else I should be looking at because the car sat that long? I know the tranny's are a weak spot,I noticed she winds out before she shifts so I plan on a good fluid and filer change
