My wife's 94 Model 940 B230F.
There are (3) rubber bushings (donuts) that fit into the end of the outer compressor clutch disc (Seiki SS121DS5) and drive the inner clutch disc when the clutch is engaged.
These bushings have fallen out of the clutch on my wife's car, and the clutch makes a terrible noise because the bushings hold the outer disc on center and keep it on position.
I presently have the belt removed.
I found one of the bushings in the belly pan, but the other two are gone.
Are these bushings available as replacement parts?
Do they glue in? If so, what type of adhesive?
I believe that heat from the clutch caused the adhesive to fail.
I can probably make new bushings, but I'm not sure how they attach to the metal cups that they mount in on the outer clutch housing.
Interference fit into the metal cups with slip fit over the metal drive pins that protrude from the inner clutch?? Sound right?
Thanks in advance for any response
