I own a 1984, 244 with a D24 engine, non turbo and M46 Gearbox.
Has anyone ever removed the standard 4 bolt propeller shaft flange from the J type OD and fitted a flex type flange as fitted to the P type or the M47 gearbox? Is a 3 point flange available for this OD unit? Probably have to modify the front portion of the propeller shaft. Is this project doable? thanks.
