90-240. Still looking for info on the steering pump o-ring. Anybody?

I still dont see where to put the o-ring that would do any good
Without it I do have a very, very slight weeping of fluid from the pressure fitting. Along with noise and chatter.
I changed the pump because it was noisy. Now have noise and chatter.
Did I bleed it? Oboy, did I. Back and forth many, many times.
The rack is a rebuilt, installed not long ago.
I could hear a squishing sound while turning wheels to right side all during the bleeding process.

Any input here would be much appreciated.
