Door Removed Panel then what?? 200 1988

'88 240 DL S/W
I started cleaning interior of driver door and was for some unknown reason
possessed to remove door panel (actually makes it easier to clean, and cleaning is more thorough!) Probably easier to apply protectant as well before reassembling. I drew a diagram of panel and everything as I removed.
I'm now to the 'metal panel' - anything I need to know in removing that? There are ...4 'hex nuts?' (removed with what and what size?)
The foam - should I just go ahead and replace? (I'm thinking just foam one can buy at a craft shop?) The wiring goes to...the door lock?? Speaker - probably a good idea to replace that while I'm here (any suggestions on one that fits the std. opening and grille?) Removing door handle - I think is the one thing I haven't done to get to just the bare interior door. Not quite sure how to get that handle off. (The rectangle ring is still behind the lever/handle and obviously is removed afterward.)
Once I'm to bare door - what should I do then? Oil or lube - what??? (And specifically using what?) Obviously clean it - repaint? Rustproof?
And then, the door hinges should be lubed (again I don't know what to use or exactly how to do that).
Any diagrams would be helpful - and all feedback appreciated. Not only am I learning about Volvo's I really don't know much about the how-to's of car maintenance. Oh, an idea of some things that need to be done, but I'm trying to learn to do more myself!) As usual, thanks for your tolerance, patience and feedback!
