240 Bumper Trim Moulding 200 1991

I was able to score a nearly perfect set of bumper moulding ($6.00!)at the local rick and pull. I have pulled off and reinstalled my old set with limited success in the past. I have searched the board and have seen the bumper lossening method as well as the pin pop and reinstall method, but both posts were pretty old and seemed sketchy. Has anyone come up with a definitive method? Thanks.
