Just started this weird rough idling thing; here's how it goes. When you first crank the car, and if its cold outside, it runs smooth,...but once the engine gets hotter, it begins idling rough. The engine doesn't run rough at cruising speeds, but it really shakes while idling at stop signs, red lights, etc. There's no check engine light on, but I'm going to check the codes anyway.
I don't know where to start. I've replaced the air mass meter once...this new rough idling thing is a different symptom than with the AMM. If it were the plug wires, coil wire, etc, then the rough idling would always occur,..not just when the engine got hot. Could it be the air box valve thing? Any suggestions are much appreciated. I've got to get this fixed today.
