The only problem, I can say is the problem, is the word "accumulator" which was already used elsewhere in describing parts of a system, a long time ago.

The desiccants applied in either place, traps the moisture. More like if you spill water on a table, wipe it up with a towel and park it in one spot on the table. The moisture is still there but the rest of the table is dry!

Maybe he would like a receiver/trapper title better. But since oil traps are used in systems that would not fly either.

We needed to be born sooner to work to be a board that sets the standards for the trades today. The plumbing trade has always needed help, IMO.
As a remodeler, you probably know that better than I and would agree.
Gravity and pressure always works the same but the parts must be made as different from someone else’s and as thin as possible, no matter what it is made of. Go figure?

I miss the sight glass window in the receivers and eye that can shows moisture. The trade uses a moisture indicator that turns from green into a pink eye.
Never seen one of those used on cars and they still use hoses but less threaded fittings so it must be better if you have the tools for the fittings.
Now you should use a weight scale or a sonic sight glass on cars!
Probably has something to do with plumbing and tool sales?

I saw on PBS where Henry Ford refused to buy Phillips head screws from Phillips because he wanted more money. He also recycled the pallets from his vendors into truck beds.

I use to cut open oil filters out of curiosity to see if they catch anything and Motor Craft’s were different. They put felt inside their oil filters for their medium. I figured that is where the hole in that padding went from the foot dimmer switch!
The penny was the King pin then, now it is a Cartel leader. I do not know what a penny buys except molded stuff like plastic or an o-ring, a small o-ring!

You just do not go with the flow anymore but you have to be fluid!
Phil
