I live in Chicago, which is known for a little something we like to call "the Chicago winter."
Okay, so I live near the lake, which has a moderating influence on severe temperatures, but still: Could that account for a Volvo OEM battery lasting 18 years?
The car is always parked outside. I've never charged it or done anything to besides keep the terminals clean. It keeps starting. It's a little sluggish and I know I should replace the thing, but I am merely curious: Is this kind of battery life a "Volvo thing" and has anyone else observed this?
