93 240 Alternator to Starter Wire 200

Anyone know off hand what gauge this wire is? My guess is 8 but not 100% sure.

Bonus round question: what size is the loop connector at the starter and alternator?

This for a 93 244 w/a Denso alt swapped in. Mine has the atypical Bosch - seems there was a different connector at the alternator on a Denso. Can't remember.

A friend of mine out of state needs a new one ASAP so I'm going to try to fab something up and send it to him before I go out of town for a week Tues AM.
