My 1966 122 (with single weber carb) starts cutting out after gas tank goes down about four (4) gallons from a full tank. Shortly after, it will die. The inline fuel filter has very little gas in it. If I fill up the tank and crank the engine, I can see the filter quickly filling up and it starts and runs perfect. I'm not sure if this is a carb issue, a fuel pump issue or what? Any ideas?
Also, if it helps, it seems like I'm not getting much better than 16 mpg. Thanks!
