hardened valve seats on a B20E 1800 1970

Hi All,

I'm building a performance B20E and it's been ported with standard sized stainless steel inlet valves but stainless exhaust valves enlarged to 36mm. The machine shop also installed hardened seats on both inlet and outlet.
The engine is part of a long restoration and hasn't run yet.
I've just read that hardened valve seats on the inlet can compromise the water jacket - is this true? THe machine shop don't have that much B20 experience but didn't mention anything about having gone through the water jacket when they were done and it's too long ago for them to remember the job for me to go back and ask.
Is this something I should lose sleep over?

Thanks
Josh
