Just replaced the waterpump and the thermostat a few months ago on son's 93 245. Has the Nissen's 3 row brass radiator and A/C works well. Have done the jumper bypass to the circuit board for temp compensation. At 55mph (highway) and above the temp is normal (at 9 o'clock), but at 45mph and below (city driving) the now 'accurate' needle creeps up to just below the red line for overheating.
Where would be the logical place to start? Thermostat? flush the radiator? Check for air blockage in front of the condenser?
Any ideas would be helpful.
Thanks,
