Rent a car in Harford for two months?

Hi,
My son is a Senior at Trinity College in Hartford and is taking summer school. He is also interning and needs transportation from school to work downtown Hartford (just a couple of miles).
Does anyone have an old car they aren't using that would like to rent it for a couple of months? I don't want to buy clunker for just a couple of months and it's too expensive to ship one of our 4 Volvos cross country.
