Can a b230 run on 3 cylinders to get it home? 200 1988

Can a 240 with a b230 drive some distance (200 miles) with compression in three of four cylinders? Or will driving it likely cause a major failure in the engine?

Don't know the cause of this issue yet, but one of the cylinders has 0 compression. The other 3 are all normal, so I'm not suspecting a head gasket failure, but perhaps I'm just kidding myself.

I know it will be a pig in terms of acceleration until it gets fixed, but will this destroy the engine, or just suck in performance and fuel economy?

Thanks,
Bruce
