New sachs clutch release bearing noise. 700 1990

Hello all. I have replaced the clutch assembly, pilot bearing and release bearing in my 744, M46/P-Type OD. I used a Sachs kit from IPD. When I started the car I heard that same noise as the old release bearing with the clutch pedal relaxed. Yes I checked that I didn't install the old bearing, I've heard of others doing this but I never have.LOL. I noticed that the new release bearing had a plastic housing. The OEM, also Sachs, had an aluminum housing. The pivot ball and fork were not worn and I put a little grease on their contact point. The new release bearing did not fit into the fork as snugly as the OEM bearing. Would a new bearing make this noise if it was not locked into the fork? I haven't looked through the rubber boot yet. Thanks for your help.
