740 1991 testing the regina coil pack 700

1991 very immaculate car.
Had some no start issues lately, replaced the crank sensor, wire was in sad shape, cleaned TB and adjusted TPS, ran some code tests on various sensors, now the car is completely impossible to fire up....

The last thing I touched before it failed to start was the spark plug wire at the regina coil.
I started it once after that, and again I played with the connection at the coil.
The wires are almost brand new. I took the coil assembly apart and cleaned the spring contact inside, it was not too bad, but still does not start.

Q: How can I test the regina coil assembly?
Resistance across the terminals of the coil itself? Does the power stage behind the coil feed 12v into it (there are two spring contacts..)?
Can I use a multimeter to measure the output of the coil while cranking?

Thanks,
Greg
