Gorgeous 1976 International Orange 242 DL - Portland, OR craigslist 200

Searching for that perfect 242, my absolute fave 200 series model body, I found this advert for a 1976 Volvo 242 DL. In the most awesome color of the Volvo International Safety Orange (same color as the Golden Gate Bridge).

So you can drive this fabulous Volvo on the Golden Gate Bridge. And then *pouf* all is unseen as you are all camouflaged while motoring across the Golden gate Bridge. International Safety Orange is cool whether on RWD Volvos or Golden Gate Bridges. So is International Safety Blue and Yellow. Dunno of any Volvo in any other international safety colors, though.

Marin County rules NorCally!

No, I'm not affiliated with this at all. If I was working and on the fun side of either OR or WA states, that is the West Side, well, I'd buy this in a PacNW second. The West Rules! The West Coast is the Best Coast! The PacNW rules!

Since this fine 1976 242 DL is in Oregon, I'll imagine this is a well tune Volvo thanks to the Oregon Volvo Tuners! www.ovtuners.org

RWD Volvos are cool. RWD Volvos in International Safety Orange are cool.

Sorry, I got my Volvo geek-nerd out on this morning! This advert on the Volvo craigslist has pushed me seriously over the edge!

Still hoping for that perfect Volvo 242 from 1975 to 1980.

cheers,

MacDuff.
